How to Hook up a NEW HDTV to Home Theater Using HDMI Cables and Component Cables..?

TV: Samsung HDTV 52"
Home Theater: Onkyo (Not sure which version..Not at home)
Cable Box: Scientific Atlanta (Suddenlink HDTV)
DVD: Onkyo
PS3 and Wii

I'm confused on whether or not I should continue to use Component cables, RCA Cables, or just go with straight HDMI Cables…Thanks..
