if you made it full hd the file size would be massive
making it 1024/768 will fill the screen, it just wont be full hd,,
you could check your manual for your tv as it will have many screen sizes which are supported that arent full hd,
if it says it is a certain resolution it might not always be, my lcd one is sometomes full hd , but sometimes 1024/768 , just depends</description>
