Assuming you're not pating more than $800 bucks or so for it it would seem a good deal. Unfortunately, the majority of Benq projectors [including this model] suffer from major early lamp failure due to overheating. Before purchasing the Benq w500, check their service centers and ask them whether or not there is a noticeable high level of projection bulb failures and if they say that is the case, then pass on the Benq w500.
