		<description>I&#039;d definately take the BenQ over the Panasonic for several reasons including contrast ratio &amp; native resolution.  Assuming you&#039;re not pating more than $800 bucks or so for it it would seem a good deal.

Keep in mind too that the BenQ lamp is a little pricey compared to some other pj&#039;s, but all in all this one looks good.

Unfortunately, the majority of Benq projectors [including this model] suffer from major early lamp failure due to overheating.  Before purchasing the Benq w500, check their service centers and ask them whether or not there is a noticeable high level of projection bulb failures and if they say that is the case, then pass on the Benq w500.
